Playing with cousins.....

Aunt Hay Hay, Phillip, Ryan and I all went to play with Aunt H-E, Coop and Bronwyn. Uncle Josh was working.

After we ate, the kids played and it was so much fun watching them. Of course the two little ones played and got into everything and Miss Bronwyn played dress up and showed off her new pierced ears.

We had a good time.

It happened.....

Today marks "a first." Ryan cried for the first time when I dropped her off at daycare. She wanted to go with Ms Betty, but I had a rubber band and wanted to fix her hair. So we put her hair up and then when I went to put her down, she wouldn't stand up. She sat on the floor, cried, turned around and wanted me. Ugh....tugs at my heart. She does it with both me and Phil when we leave the room....doesn't matter who it is.... but that's normal. There were two babies and not her normal friends this morning. Of course it doesn't last long, but still.

Wow....I want to go get her right now and it's only 7:40am. She will be fine.

Ollie's 3 birthday party

Oliver Thomas turned 3 today. Stacey and Alan had his birthday party on Saturday. We had a lot of fun. And we will get to do it again on the 27th. Colin turns one on the 26th.

The kids played and played and played. They played outside, inside and at the park. Ryan was tired that it didn't take but 5 minutes and she was out like a light on the way home. She was walking everywhere and didn't let her mommy or daddy sit for very long.

"One of these things is not like the other."

Why do they remember the time you laughed and not all the times you say no? The other night Aunt Hay Hay and I were sitting talking and kept hearing Ryan whine. She would whine and then push her toy over. It's one of those that blows the balls out of the top and then go back in and then get blown out again.

I looked over and this is what I found. "One of these things is not like the other."
Can you see the 3 balls and then her pacy on the very right?

I laughed and Hayley took a picture to send Phillip. Now she does it and I tell her no. However, she keeps doing it b/c I made a big deal the very first time.
Ugh.... (but still thinks it's cute)

Where does she get her personality from...oh wait....her daddy!!

We have a class clown on our hands. This morning I dropped Ryan off and her friends Chase and Ariana were getting there as well. They are a bit younger and class below her, but I know their parents so we all get along.

Chase was in the exersaucer and Ariana in the table. They usually all play at the table together, but this morning everyone was spread out. So in walks Ryan. She goes straight to Chase and starts bouncing up and down as if she was dancing (see video below), but really bouncing. It was as if she was baby talking to him and playing with him like a big girl would to a baby. (Bronwyn pops in my head b/c she talks that way to Ryan.)

So there she is bouncing and playing and then all of a sudden Chase starts bouncing and cooing. What a site. All of us were laughing.

~If I didn't tell you before.....Last week Ryan and I got there a little behind schedule so the babies were already sitting in the table, yes sitting IN the table, and Ms Betty says "Here she is. Your friends have been waiting for their leader." It was so funny, yet scary to think that Ryan has them all right where she wants them. Can't you just picture them all crawling behind her as she walks and says "ok, if anyone asks....you don't know anything. Just roll over and start crying. Don't give in to the pressure." She is going to be that one that leads them to trouble. I just know it.

In the picture below, this is how I found Ryan Saturday morning. Oh no......

Gran Gran's bday

Bath + nap = nice hair after a long nap

We taught Ryan "USA, USA" while moving her fist to cheer for the USA team during the Olympics.

And Saturday, Ryan hit her forehead and had a nice unibrow going. She looked like a cave woman.

Gran Gran's birthday was Sunday. The house was packed!! Lots of family and friends.

Pretty Granma bought Ryan a new spring dress. I never put her in dresses b/c as a crawler, she could mess her knees or hose up. But now that she is walking, she looks so cute in it.

Yet, some pictures weren't so lady like.......

To my wonderful Phillip (he never reads this thing...)

Thank you for the gorgeous diamond cross necklace. I love it so much. It was the best gift ever. It's so pretty. I love you.

My gift was to let him sleep in on Sunday. No go, work called and he was out till 11pm. Maybe this weekend I can give him the raincheck to cash. It's not easy getting up before 7am everyday of the week.
