Phillip, Ryan and I joined Heather, Josh, the kids and Hayley at Chuck E Cheese last night for dinner. We went out to celebrate little Coop on his 2nd birthday.
The kids had the best time..... well we all did. I had fun get my picture with everyone.
Happy birthday Coopster...aka Pooper, as Ryan says it.
I went to Painting with a Twist again last night. Hayley, my mom, friend Cindy and I painted Desert Sunset. It was so much fun. Last time when I painted, some of the stuff was outlined and easier to paint. Not this time....all free hand. It's so addicting. I want to do it all the time. Maybe we can do another one in Nov. I like the cross that is brown with blue lines (picture 7). You can see it at the front on the wall in a picture that was taken from the back. I would really like to do that one.
I encourage everyone to get out and try it. So relaxing and it makes you want to learn how to paint.
Ryan and I made a sign for our friend Sarah...aka Mumfie. She lives in AZ and moved from NY. We met in April of 2008 and have been friends ever since. I met her when she worked for one of my groups that I deal with at work. She is a great friend and having a hard time right now.
Her friend had surgery that didn't go well. She and her friend could use all the prayers that we can give. From what I know, at this point it doesn't look good. Well let's send a flood of prayers from TX to her in AZ and her friend in NY.
Sarah... we are all here for you. Your home (she lived in TX as a little girl) is pulling for your friend.
Sorry about the F.... Ryan took it and ran. She loves to run when she knows she is being sneaky. So this is what you get :)!!!
Ryan is such a happy girl in the mornings. It's been raining and I know they won't let them go outside for school, so I have been putting her in her new shoes. She loves to show off.
Friday was Ryan's cooking day. It was "ME" week. It looks just like her, doesn't it??
Saturday, Stacey, Alan and kids came over to hang out. I seriously was going to wear this shirt, but decided to change. Well, in walks Colin. So I had to go change and be his twinkie!!
Hay, Ryan and I went to Mema's on Sunday to have dinner and get some things that she wants to give away. Heather, Hayley and I used to put on this wig as kids and thought Ryan would like to play. She didn't keep it on, but for a few seconds. We got two cute pictures though.
And then Mema and Ryan sat on the porch for an early evening conversation.
Monday evening we went outside to get some air. Ryan helped Phil pulled weeds and liked to pose up against the house.
We decided to take Ryan's Winnie the Pooh truck outside. She rode it all for about 2 minutes and then took off running.
Here is Ryan's very first school picture. She looks so cute. Teacher on the left is Ms Robbie and the one on the right is Ms Debra. They are both really nice teachers and I feel Ryan is doing well. She has been getting a few bites or scratches, but knock on wood she isn't the one giving them. As Yo Gabba Gabba says "Don't bite your friends." It seems she has been listening :). (Gabba Gabba is her favorite show. She can even say it.)
Ryan has also been learning to drink out of a cup. She did really good last night at dinner. I would put her cup on the table and she would say "Cup.....Cup" when she wanted it. She goes real slow, but that's better than spilling it everywhere. She has learned to blow a bubble or two but I try to squash that as soon as I hear her do it.
Also, there is a U-Tube video out there that I have yet to see. It's about a guy freaking out at a double rainbow. I guess I need to see it. But.... I saw my own double rainbow last night.
That's about all for today. Phillip starts his pole climbing school on Wed. I know he is excited. I will try to put updates of what he tells me throughout the week next week. Hoping to get a few funny stories out of him.
