Ron is a long time friend that we used to see when we would go to Arkansas. He owns a canoe outfit and would let us float the river. We haven't been since all the little ones were born, but are planning to go back soon. He came in this weekend so that we could celebrate. Phillip got them a cake when they came over.
Friday night Ron, Stacey, Alan, Hilary (Red), Mike, Phillip and I all went to eat and then hung out on McKinney Ave (Uptown). We had a good time just hanging out and watching the Lakers take OK Thunder. Poor fellas. OK really gave it their best shot. I am one who goes for the underdogs. Plus, Lakers always win.
We had a really good time.

I'm not kidding..... if we go out.....there is ALWAYS a picture of Alan in the background.
We ended up at Primos where I saw Big Al Mack, the DJ and guy I had been wanting to go see all night. He owns a bar on the street where we were, yet we couldn't find it. He showed up at the last spot we went to. FINALLY..... I HAVE to have pictures with any celebrity I see. Picture with me, Stac and Alan.
Then Sunday I got Ryan ready for our grocery shopping day. I found her at the back door. Ryan was watching the birds that come back every year. Ok, so I have tried everything to get them to go away....well splashing water at them. But I guess I will let them stay so that Ryan can watch them.
Then the not so good picture is taken with my phone. She was reading at Barnes and Noble.
When Stacey and Alan's kids stay at their Grammy's, they usually stay till Sunday. After Stac and Alan pick them up, we usually go eat. We decided to top the weekend off with some seafood. This is Phillip with Colin and Ryan.
Phillip with twins??? I don't think so.
We let the kids run around for a few minutes after we ate. Perfect pic of Ryan, except for "At at Joe's."
They won't stay this loving forever, will they? Ryan giving and receiving hugs with the Mears' boys.
Stacey got her tattoos on Saturday for her birthday. The Ram is for Colin's sign and the Fish is Ollie's sign. The are on the inside of her arm between her wrist and elbow. Really neat!
