Phillip and I hosted a Memorial party for Stacey, Alan and kids, Heather, Josh and kids and Hayley.
The weekend started off with me going to Zumba and taking Ryan with me. She likes to play in the daycare they have. I say she likes it, b/c she doesn't cry when I walk away.
Well, on our way out she was so excited to "go bye bye" that she took off running and skinned her knees. We went almost 17 months to the day without ever needing to use a bandaide, well it happened. She skinned them pretty good. We had to use spiderman ones b/c we didn't have any girly ones. I guess we have to get some.
Pretty Granma and PawPaw got Ryan a picnic table. Ryan really wanted to help her daddy put it together.
Here is my porch before the party.
Aren't we cute in our flowers???
Stacey was in charge of the desserts for the party. WOW.....holy cow. She made little hamburgers that were cupcakes. How cool is this??? They were the hit of the party. They even had fondant icing for the cheese, which was stringy some how. Weird, yet delicious. I was so impressed.
Real or cupcake???
The pool turned out to be prefect for the kids. It was big enough yet, not a huge pool. The parents could be right there if need be. All of them were swimming fools, well little (in age) Colin liked to be around the pool and watched most of the time.
Swim, swim, and more swimming........
I have to say that Phillip and I were on edge most of the time. Ryan, with it being her offical first pool time being this age, wanted to get in and get out, get in and get out. She isn't big enough to step in and out. So we had to help her each time and of course I couldn't help, I had the camera. :) So Phillip ran to get her as she is on her way out!!
Break time at the table.
The women...........
The men...........
Me and Josh.
Adams Family
Why do kids want to be like other kids? Ryan sees the boys with no shirt on, so she wants to not have hers on.
Kids on coolers and eating their hamburger "cupcakes."
Bronwyn and her Princess bed....she wanted to get it out so bad yet when she got outside she was hot and wanted to move it inside. Women...... do we really change our minds that much?
Coop and his daddy.
On Monday, Phillip's mom and dad, Pretty Granma and PawPaw brought Mason and Isabelle over to swim. Izzy had a bad night the night before, so she slept while Mason swam. Ryan had her suit on but was in and out like she loves to do.
It was a great all over weekend!!!
