Role Play

Ryan has been role playing lately. She wants to be the mommy and wants me to be the baby. She will tell me good job or that we need to go to school or that I need to go to bed. She has really been having fun with it. And to my benefit, if she starts to look like she is going towards grumpy Ryan I will say "Momma, I need...." and fill in the blank. She will ususally go into mommy mode and forget about why she was fussy to begin with.

She also loves taking showers instead of baths. I started that to see if it would help with her bobo issues and she has been taking them ever since. If she is grumpy, I will tell her that she has to take a bath instead of a shower and she will usually straighten up. Is that bad? I sometimes think yes, but if it works then why not. She loves to wear shower caps. We will let her wear one every once and a while when she doesn't need her hair washed.

Becky got her a sucker that instead of a ring it looked like Mater's teeth from Cars the movie. The sucker itself was huge so she couldn't keep it in her mouth very long.

Her favorite things to do these days are jump om her trampoline, play with her cash register, play her guitar or dance around. She is very active and I try to do a lot with her so that she grows up as an active child. So far so good.
