2 weeks and I will be half way there!!

This is my 18 week picture today! I have definitely popped a little.

I came back from my trip to FL and the girls at work were shocked. Cynthia and I had a good time. We got to walk on the Ft Lauderdale beach, but only for a few minutes. That sand was hot.

My appt yesterday went great. I gained 5 lbs, however it's only a total of 9 in 12 weeks. I also got to hear Monkey's heartbeat which was around 130. The Dr had to chase the baby around to get a steady beat. Monkey was excited and wouldn't stop moving.

My next appt is Monday, Aug 25th. This is just a check up before I head out to WI for Steph's wedding that I am in.

Then.....when I get back, Phillip and I have an appt with the sonographer at 9:30am on Tuesday, Sept 2nd to find out if Monkey is a boy or a girl. We will then have about 20-30 mins before we see the Dr (in between sonographer and Dr appt), so I am sure we will be doing some calling at that time. Please check back on that day for the posting. We will try to call everyone, but as we all know our families together make up about half of Dallas. So we will try to get to everyone. If not, please understand that it will be a busy day. I will post as soon as I get back to work which should be between 12-1pm.

Update

Hey everyone. I haven't blogged in a week b/c I was in FL for work. Cynthia and I landed in Tampa, over to Orlando, and made our way to Miami and Ft Lauderdale. It was a successful trip. We got to walk on the beach and sit by the pool for a little R & R!

Today is my 18 week appt. I will be 18 weeks tomorrow and will post a picture then. I am excited to hear Monkey's heartbeat and see my weight gain/maintain.

16 weeks picture

Here is my 16 weeks picture. I am now 4 months...I think. So many people count it different.

4th of July 2008...Water balloon toss

Here are some pictures from our annual 4th of July water balloon toss at my grandpas. In some of the bubble pictures, I think the big kids enjoyed the bubbles more than Bronwyn did.

Look closely at some of the pictures. The balloons either broke or got caught in weird ways.

Monkey is 15 weeks today. We are in what we call the "in between stage." If someone on the street saw me, I am not sure they would know I am pregnant. That's ok though, because we all know, right?

I was very tired this morning, but keeping busy so I am good as of now. Ask me at 2pm any day of the week and I might tell you different :)!!

Monkey is the size of an apple now.... Phil likes me to call him every week to let him know what size, according to what fruit, Monkey is that day!!

Phillip and I purchased a new 4 door GMC 1500 Sierra truck. We are so excited. Anyone want a ride??

14 weeks TODAY!

We are just coasting along. I am 14 weeks (3 1/2 months) today. It's amazing how time flies.

Tonight is kick boxing. I think Monkey likes it. Aunt Hay and I have been going since Dec. I love the class and sleep like a champ on Wed nights.

14 week appt

I had my 14 week appt today. I am right on schedule, as well as baby Monkey. I didn't gain any weight since June 4th. The Dr said that's normal b/c I will gain towards the end whether I want to or not :)!

My blood pressure was 120/76. I had a high reading the last time, but I think I was more anxious and nervous b/c it went down after the nurse took it again.

The baby's heartbeat is 150, which again the Dr said was good.

So overall.......we are doing great.

I won't find out the gender on my 18 week appt (which is July 29th). The Dr wants to make sure so that we can really tell and also wants to be able to see the chambers of the heart and other anatomy parts. So I won't have one in July, but will find out the gender the last week in Aug.

Thanks for always checking up on us. We are doing great and Phil is the best dad-to-be. He is being so sweet and fun and letting me do what I want :)!! If not, we might have a problem. Phillip is the best!!!
