Grandpa is 96 and a half

We went to see Grandpa's yesterday to visit and have dinner with him. The second we were done eating, Ryan had a toy and was out the door. Grandpa is 96 and a half years old and doesn't take any medicine or use a cane. That man amazes me. He does smile. :) I think I got him at a weird moment as the picture was taken.

We walked out towards the barn to see the sheep.

Grandpa and Ryan walking through the barn to find the sheep. He walks through that place like he was 70 years old. There are steps, yet he gets around with little to no help.

Ryan: "What are those?" Leslie: "Those are sheep poop."
We learn something new every day!!

Ryan holding on for dear life as the sheep eat out of her lap. Sorry Les, don't know their names. I call this one Sheep. :)

We also had to go check the mail. I should have gotten a picture of them looking in the mailbox together. It was so cute.

Now for some relaxing music....sort of.

I was so glad that we spent time with Granpa.

Traveling and getting cooler

Cynthia and I went on our annual work trip. This time we went to PA, NJ, and NY. I think the trips go as good as they do, b/c we are so similar and get along great.

We tried to go to Finnigan's Wake for lunch, but it was closed. I REALLY wanted to go.

We got to go to Carl's Bakery. I was so excited to try some of their pasteries, but more excited to possibly see Buddy or anyone from the show.

We didn't get to see Buddy, but Momma came out! She was so sweet.

Thursday night we went to Times Square and ate at the Hard Rock. It was fun.

Over all, the trip went very well. We had good appointments and good fun.

Saturday morning after I got back, we went to see Ollie play his last soccer game. Fire won and it was fun watching them play. The only picture I got was Ryan and Colin being silly!

Great Wolf Lodge! We made it.

Wrist bands that we all had to wear. GO TEAM ADAMS! (Yes, Ryan makes us do that. )

Dinner time at the Rainforest Cafe.

It was a bit loud with all of the animals.

Even though we were on vacation, we still find time to shop. Ryan's new shoes.

After dinner, there was story time. We (Ryan) got our pj's on and went to the clock tower for stiry time. But don't forget the new shoes. We can't go anywhere without our new shoes.

Testing out the new shoes in the hallway.

Our floor the Whispery Woods. Sssshhhhhh!

Saturday morning after breakfast. There was the Wolf Walk where the kids got to learn about animals of the woods.

Off to the water park. Not tall enough for the big slides. Maybe next year.

Posing in water park.

Don't forget to pose in the elevator.

Snack time.

Look the bucket at the top of the picture. This holds 100's of gallons of water that spilled out every few minutes.

There is goes.

Is that water cold Phillip?

Much better..... This was Ryan's favorite part. She LOVED the wave pool.

We got back from Great Wolf Lodge on Friday and took off for the farm on Saturday morning. Off to take a ride on the mule with Nana and Maizie.

Ryan's turn to drive...taking Nana on a "really fast" ride.

Saturday night we went to the rodeo with Nana, Poppa and friends.

Ryan and I went to Jack Cater pool for the last time. The pool is now closed for the summer.
