Baby showers, Birthdays and Play time

This past weekend was fun. I didn't get any pictures of Friday night, but Hay and I went out on a sister date. We took Ryan to the store, then dropped her off at home while Phillip watched her (well she was asleep) and then Hay and I went to Avacado...our FAVORITE sushi/roll place. We had a good time.

Then Saturday, Hayley and I took Ryan to Erin's baby shower. Brendan and Connor are getting big. Erin looks fabulous!!! I only got one picture of her and she was sitting down.

Ryan just loves Dylan's toy, so I asked if I could pull it out for her. She loves to look at herself in the mirror. And Nana gave her that cute outfit.

Saturday night, we had a birthday diner for John. Stacey, Alan and Colin came over to celebrate. Colin is so so cute. They played together and took each others pacifiers.

We ate and played poker. The babies did well of sleeping through the tear filled laughter that went on all night. By the time everyone had left it was oh......11pm......NOT. It was 1am. I had NO IDEA. The time just flew by.

Then again, I took some random pictures of Ryan. I tried to get her silly wake up hair. It's getting longer where it sticks up, but not long enough for ponytails!!!

And one last thing....I already thanked GrandMary for this little book that she gave Ryan. It's about cats and Ryan loves it. She pulls it out for me to read EVERYDAY!! We all know this is a good thing b/c hopefully this will get her interested in reading as she gets older. Well, mommy on the other hand has to be the one to read it to her....over and over and over and over again. I say thank you with a smile b/c it is an everyday thing. Yes, it's cute. But COME ON!! :) Well last night she was sitting on my lap and handed me the book. Yet she turned really fast and the book slammed into my mouth. I have a busted lip. Not a big one, but it's a blister.

So again.....thank you GrandMary for the book. (All in fun)

New toys

We love DORA!!!

Had to get pictures in her monkey pjs. No she wasn't too happy....until she saw her daddy. She was in teh middle of taking off to go see him.

Ryan got a new toy from Jennice, a girl from my work. She loves the music and dances, plays, and has a great time.

Cousin Dorothy came over Friday night and stayed over. We watched the Texas game after going to breakfast Saturday morning. Yes, this is how she checks diapers. HA.... she got the lucky diaper!!

The things babies play with. DON'T WORRY.... we don't let her play with this when we aren't there. It was on the floor and she picked it up and put it on her head. Had to get a picture.

Ryan likes to ride on her Winnie the Poo toy that Jennice, girl from work, gave her. Thank you so much. She likes to ride it. We are trying to make her hold on, but she is a rebel.

Ryan would turn her music on, clap, look at us, and then get excited when we clapped. She loves her toys with music.

Two peas in a pod....

She decided she was going to try and get her toys out from the back. She would open the seat of the Winnie the Poo rider, get a toy out and close it. Open it, put the toy back and then close it. She did this for maybe 10 mins. So funny.

And we are spent!!!!

Big girl....lefty possibly??

A girlfriend at work had mentioned to me about giving Ryan a utensil to practice with when eating. She might not know what to do, but she will learn.

Holy cow, the girl ate with the fork. I put food on the fork and she knew exactly what to do. I put the fork in her right hand as well and same thing. I just think it's cute that she uses her left right now more than her right. Aunt H-E (Heather) will be happy.

Proud mommy here!

Ryan woke up from her morning nap Sunday (yes, she has gone to no morning nap at daycare, but not at Adams' daycare on the weekends) and her left eye was matted together. Oh no!! I thought pink eye and posted on facebook immediately for ideas and things to do until I could get her to the Dr.

We went to the Dr Monday morning to find out it's another (or continuation from the last one) ear infection. She also had a sinus infection. So it was coming out her eyes and nose. She was her happy self with a few moments of whiny girl. But that's probably b/c she was bored. She wanted to go back to daycare....she told me.

Come 4pm, both eyes had gotten bad so I called the Dr and asked about over the counter eye drops. I was told to give the meds time to work and that the over the counter ones are for allergies and might burn. So I let the medicine take it's course and by Tuesday morning, her eyes were better. She just looked like she had been beaten up.

I couldn't resist this picture. I made Phillip put her leggings on first to look like an 80s workout girl. Plus you can see her eye.

By Tuesday when I picked her up, both eyes were so much better. The medicine was working.

Halloween 2009

This past weekend I picked up Ryan from school and her teachers were dressed up. Her current teachers are not in this picture, but Ms Betty (the one on the right) was her Infant A teacher. Ms Angel, the bee, is in Ryan's class when I drop her off since Ms Savi isn't there yet. I like Ms Angel. She will carry Ryan around facing out, like Aunt Linda does, and Ryan loves it.

Then on Saturday, I took her to the trunk or treat. Bronwyn, the cheerleader, and Cooper, the devil, were there too. I didn't get a picture of Cousin Dylan. He was Buzz Lightyear and so so cute. It was a cute year. Just know that Phillip is determined to get her into a Super Hero costume at some point :)!
