Baby in a basket.....

I am starting to think that Ryan doesn't like anything on her feet. Everytime I put something on her little feet, she moves them around and tries to get them off. She wasn't too sure about the sock things either that I put on her. Each foot had a little monkey face starring back at her.

She is also sitting up so much better and loves to play after we get home from day care.


























Then after we played, Phillip went out to grill. I wanted to go out too and Ryan isn't big enough for the jumperoo, so I had to be creative. Here is what I came up with..... a basket. She seemed to like it. She watched her daddy grill and then mommy dance. We took the computer out there and played some music. I tried to get her dancing, but as soon as I turned the video off she would do it. She knows what "bouncy bouncy" means. Now I am trying to get her to "dancy dancy."

Update

I know I have been posting a few pictures with minimal blogging. I need to tell everyone more. I didn't even tell Cynthia at work that Miss Ry Ry is sitting up now. Yes, she falls over sometimes, but she is a big girl now....not a baby. Ok...so she is a baby and I have to say that b/c Becky will laugh at me. I said (when she was about 4 months old) "When she was a baby..." and Becky laughed b/c she is STILL a baby.

She is my big girl though. :)

Ryan will be 7 months old on Thursday. Can you believe it?? I can't. This is the best age so far. I mean the newborn stage was so sweet, but this age when she can talk to us, laugh with us, make a silly face when I put my foot in her face and say "oooo yucky, stinky".... and she would squeeze her face as to say that mommy had stinky feet is priceless. I have attached the picture that Aunt Hay Hay took. It was with her phone and she wasn't real close, but you can see how cute she is.
















The other picture is the little super star in her sun glasses. She wasn't sure about them at first (a few months ago) and would tilt her head back not knowing why it got dark all of a sudden. But now she smiles b/c mommy will put hers on too and say "I'm super star...look at me!"

Bye Bye Buggy

The picutres aren't great b/c I took them with my phone, but when I went to pick up Ryan yesterday she was in the bye bye buggy!!!

So funny! She loved it.

I'm a big Girl!!

Last night Aunt Hay Hay came over to bring more stuff b/c she is moving in this weekend. I started feeding Ryan when she spit at me. I said "No spit" and she busted out laughing. I said "NO" and made the spit sound. She started laughing again. Hay Hay got video of it. The sound is funnier than the motions. I will have to see if Hayley can put it on her blog (www.hayfini.blogspot.com).


Then this morning, I had to take her picture. She is such a big girl now. She sits at the table at day care and plays. Here are a few pictures of her playing.



















This is from Thursday night. I sat her on the floor to play. I was getting dinner started and doing the dishes. I looked out and saw her asleep.

Brunch with Nana for her bday

All of us girls went to brunch for my momma's bday. We had so much fun. After brunch, I took Ryan to Grammy and Grandaddys. We then we to see Star Trek. GREAT MOVIE!!!! Here is the dress Nana got for Ryan. And her shoes.......hehehehe

Weekend Fun!

Here are some pictures from the last few weekends. There is a video at the end of Miss Ryan talking. She did this all weekend. (Need sound) Just some fun pictures from my mom's birthday brunch with just the girls, swimming pictures, pictures with Granma and PawPaw and Mason, a picture of Maizie (mom's dog) watching after Ryan as she sleeps, and Ryan petting Blue, Sarah's dog.

I will post more this week, I promise. I will be taking her 7 month (AAAHHHHH) picture next week. She is starting to sit on her own, eat more foods, talk talk talk, play and just being a happy girl. She is growing up so fast. I wish someone would have told me how fast she was going to grow........... HA kidding. Everyone told me and it's true.

4th of July

This was taken with a camera phone. I will post another one, but had to post this. She has her little bow in. She has about 3 strands of hair now :)!

Ryan had her 4th of July party at her daycare on Wed the 1st. Amber, my friend who has Langston took the picture of us. The other is a cartoon drawing that was done of her. So cute! I laugh every time I see it.
