Our new patio......
The first picture doesn't look so bad when the back yard is all made up nice. The picture below is from 2010 when we had a get together for Memorial Day.
Every spring I had to go pull the weeds from in between every crack and then spray so that the weeds wouldn't grow for a few weeks. The bricks were uneven and not very nice on our feet.
So Phillip, Jeff and Mikey worked on our patio for 2 days.....after Phillip had worked on it for one day getting all of the bricks taken up.

This is after all of the bricks were taken up and fresh sand was laid.
Our BRAND new GORGEOUS patio. I am so happy and proud of those guys. They happen to have worked on it on the hottest day of the summer so far. I believe it was 107 that day. I am just so honored that Phillip thought of me and wanted to make me happy. Yes, it makes him happy too, but he did it knowing that I would be over joyed. I love that guy!!
Last Thursday, I took Ryan, her cousins and Aunt H-E to Chuck E Cheese for Ryan's "half birthday." Aunt Mary sent us free tokens that they sent for Ryan's half bday. So we ate and the kids played.
Funny story behind the next to pictures. The one below is the final picture that I asked Ryan to take b/c the one below that was a joke on me.
She had her tongue out the entire time while the machine was getting ready. Then the guy says. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1...smile." And that that moment, she smiled.......leaving me to look silly.
Saturday morning Ryan and I played Candy Land. I REALLY want to do a Candy Land party for her birthday. I know that's half a year away, but love the idea.
My baby cub.
Ryan had safari week at school. They made masks and she was the lion.
