What a weekend!!

What a weekend. Friday we went to eat with having intentions of going to Home Depot afterwards to get paint. Well, you know the ending to that story. It was 8:45 when we got done and decided to go home.

Phil wanted to wake up and go to the hot air balloon festival on Saturday. WE DID. We got up at 6:15 and went out there. We had coffee and a snack and watched most of the balloons blow up and take off. We saw a flower, a pirate, a dragon, and other colorful ones. We took lots of pictures. We then went home, showered, and went to Home Depot….again, not as planned. We went and picked the colors, but did not get the paint. We couldn't decide so we took all the stuff to Heathers for help. I also was STARVING and going to literally fall over from hunger. So we went and got chic-fila and headed to Heathers. It was the Heather, Josh, Bronwyn, Phil, me and Hay. We got some cute pictures. Then Phil and I went home for a nap before his cousin’s game. That was fun, but didn't get home till 1am or something.

We woke up Sunday to go to Home Depot. Yeah!!!! We got the paint, but with a sour attitude. We were both tired and stressed about painting. I wanted to just have it done already and was hungry. So the start of the day wasn't so happy. Once my mom and Hay got there, the painting began. My mom was on a mission. It was a good thing b/c the paint would still in the garage if she hadn't come over. But, we taped, painted and had a good time. Hay brought Honey Girl too. Becky, Frankie, Ben, Ashley and Mason showed up later. We had a good time, with the end result of a Neapolitan Ice Cream room. :) It looked that way once we took the tape off with the pink, brown and white. However, I held a chocolate ribbon up and it won't look that silly once we have the chocolate chair railing up. Plus I would like to get letters and paint them the same chocolate color and hang above her bed.

WOW….. The hard part, to me, is done. I have pictures and will get them on the computer some day, :) hopefully in the next few days.
