Growin up!

Remember when? I never believed people when they said "Oh, they grow up so fast." With a new baby, everything seems hard and like the crying will never end which makes time seem to go by slowly.

Well, once you see these pictures from when she was weeks old "that saying" makes me sad. I can't believe her little feet were ever that little. I mean she is still little, but she was tiny. I just want to take those feet and eat 'em up!!

She wasn't feeling all that well last night. She must have had a gas bubble and been tired. I tried walking her around and putting her in different places. The family tree toy usually keeps her attention for a bit. She loves this toy. Now if I would only put pictures in it for her to look at. Right now she just puts it in her mouth and looks at it.

Ugh.... how cute she is and how much she has grown. This mother thing is absolutley amazing.

Little Miss Ryan is 3 months old today!

Happy 3 months baby girl.

Ryan is getting so big. She is still little, but growing everyday. She has found her tongue. It's the best feeling as a parent to watch your little one find new things, make new sounds, and stick her tongue out at you. Phillip is the one to blame. He plays the game of "stick your tongue out, no you stick yours out." It's the most precious thing. I read that babies will mock you with the same facial expressions. Well, she has taken this one and made it her own. She stuck that little tongue out ALL weekend. Every time I looked over at her (when happy), she was making her face. I will take more pictures b/c it is the silliest thing.

She has also learned to grab things. We have a family tree toy that makes a "crinkle" noise. I asked Phil if he was playing with her and he said no. She had taken the toy, picked it up, and started playing with it. Now she takes it to her mouth.

She has also learned to seriously drool. All babies do it, but Phillip thought she spit up, but looked down and it was drool. She can shoot like spitting something out.

I know this isn't the most beautiful thing, but it is amazing to me b/c it's a new thing she has learned.

I can't wait till Easter b/c we have two outfits for her to wear!! I will for sure put the ears on her all day Sunday.

Colin Andrew Mears

Mr Colin Andrew was born March 26th at 10:15pm. He weighed in at 9 lb 6 oz and was 22 inches long. He has dark hair and the cutest little thing. I say little b/c he is skinny, but long. And he squeaks!! It's so cute.

My 31st birthday

Well, another birthday has come and gone!! It was a great one though. I celebrated with my almost 3 month old Ryan Elizabeth and family. She is just sugar sweet. I want to kiss her all the time, which was hard last week. Phillip and I both got sick, but on different days. I took care of her Monday and Tuesday and then Phil took care of her the rest of the week. It was so hard not being able to hold her or kiss on her. I thought Phillip was going to flip out if he had to go one more day.

Well, by Friday the parents were feeling better. But little Miss Ryan was not. She got her first bit of "not feeling good." I am sure it was from being at day care. She had a cough and a runny nose. Even though she felt yucky, she still gave me a smile. I got her in a swing outside Friday night.

I also got her in her little blue jeans. Phillip was so excited. He wanted to dress her in blue jeans for weeks now.

Mom came over Friday night and we watched Ryan, Bronwyn and Cooper. I didn't get any pictures of me, but look at B and picture that girl a bit taller. We both had tulle on our heads as brides and she had us "deading" spiders in the forest. It was something else. And here are Coop and Ry looking at each other.

Moved to her back........

Ok, I know she didn't actually "roll over." However, I didn't put her in bed this way. I put her on her side, which we do b/c she likes it. Well, I went to check on her an hour later and found her like this. She managed to wiggle her way onto her back from in between those wedges. Smart Cookie!

Happy Birthday Ollie!!
We had a great time. Katrina brought Addyson and she got to play with Ollie. Yes, Stac made the cake. She is so creative. If you go back a year, she made Ollie's frog cup-cake cake. Good job.

Now we are awaiting the birth of little Mears baby #2. I will keep everyone posted when he arrives....and no I don't know the name. It's a surprise to everyone. I can't wait to hear it.



































Ryan and I went to visit Katie and her Julia. Kasey, Jacob and little Katie came too. I didn't get any pictures except for this one cute one of 9 month old Julia taking care of Ryan for me.

Sweet N Sassy Day...
Have any of you ever been? It's a crazy place that Ryan will take part in, I'm sure. It is a place for little girls to go play dress up, get up dos, get there hair cut, get mani's and pedi's...it's crazy. Mom, Bronwyn, Coop, Heather, Ryan and I went to lunch and to Sweet N Sassy with some of Heather's friends. What a crazy day.
