The BIG 2~

Today was the day! It was Ryan's 2nd birthday. And as most of you know, for an entire month anytime you asked her anything about her birthday she replied "Birthday Cake." Well, she got her birthday cake.

First, we went to lunch with my mom, sisters, Bronwyn, Cooper, and friends Heather, Logan and Jacob. Brownyn and Logan are best friends. It was a good lunch.

Then Ryan and I went home for a nap. After that, she helped me and Phillip make her birthday cake. I had one of those jumbo cup cake makers. It didn't turn out perfect, but the bottom portion was a perfect size. So we labeled it her "birthday cake."

It was a good day.

At 7:43, two years ago, the best thing came into me and Phillip's lives. It's amazing that the thing that can make you so frustrated at times is the best part of my life. She is my life and I love her so much. Wow, 2 years ago. I still can't wrap my head around that two years has past.

Happy birthday Ryan Elizabeth. We all love you so much.

Merry Christmas...so far

Christmas has been great....so far. We are going to the Reeder's the day after Christmas. I will have pictures then too.

Fun outfits

I know I don't dress Ryan in a lot of girly dresses, but I am trying to do more of that. However, I still like to dress her up and take her picture. Here are a few fun ones.

Her new fun thing is to shrug her shoulders when she says cheese.

Christmas party

Ryan had her Christmas party last week. She is such a goof ball. She danced and jumped and hopped her little heart out. She was the one in the center of the room most of the time. That was the fun part.

The crazy part is when we went out in the hallway and she wanted to just run. It was so crowded and we tried to make an ornament which never dried and got all over me. Then she saw the cookies and cried as she is eating one b/c she wanted another one. Crazy girl.

We then tried to get a picture of the two girls b/c I got her and Ari in front of the tree last year. It didn't work so me and Katie had to hold them.

Ryan and I went shopping after her party. She wanted to wear her boots, so this is what I found. She loves to say cheese now.

Santa 2010

Here is this year's picture. I love it. She was so sweet and did great. I always love the pictures of kids crying (sounds bad, but you know what I mean) on Santa's lap. It makes for fun memories. Well, that is until I get in line and hope Ryan smiles cute and I get a good picture. She carries the one around from last year, so I took it with us for her to show him. And funny thing, it was the same Santa.



























2009

Ryan had a friend over....

Ryan had a friend over for the first time....without the friend's parents. Ariana's parents had a Christmas party to go to and asked if we would watch Ari. These girls are friends at school and Ryan talks about Ari all the time. So I didn't mind and thought it would be fun. They had dinner, watched a little tv, played with toys, took a bath and went to bed. Well, Ryan went to bed. Poor Ariana cried her little eyes out. We let her cry it out for about 10 minutes and then I held her until she feel asleep.

It was good for both girls, however there were a lot of "mines" going on. But we had fun!! Oh and the last picture is because Ryan couldn't handle Ari in her chair..... you will see what happened next. Yet the picture we didn't get was Ari letting Ryan know she was sitting there for the moment.....Ryan got pushed out of the way and ended up on the floor.
